Legendary folk singer and national artist Chinnakorn Krailart died on Thursday morning of spinal infections. Chinnakorn was admitted to Siriraj Hospital, where he died of spinal infections at 10.40am on Thursday, said Nok Boriphat, a TV show host close to the singer. The renowned folk singer had battled against colon cancer two years ago. He was admitted to the hospital to seek treatment after suffering swelling in his legs and vomiting, the TV host told Thairath Online. The legendary singer was named a National Artist in 1999 in the performing arts field.
